Nexus · Historical validation

Validate a past deal.

Start with a recently completed material commitment. Nexus assesses how the decision could have been made using only information that was available before commitment/signature.

No process change. Do not send confidential customer material through this first form.

A simple first step

First establish whether the case is suitable.

A short, non-confidential description is enough to begin. If the case is suitable, we agree a secure way to review the relevant historical pre-signature material.

1 · Describe the completed commitmentWhat was promised, why it mattered, and roughly when it was committed.
2 · We confirm suitabilityThe case should be material enough to test judgment and supported by reconstructable pre-signature information.
3 · Agree secure sharingOnly after suitability is confirmed do we agree how the historical evidence, assumptions and terms should be shared.
4 · Receive the Nexus assessmentYou receive a written brief with the reconstructed decision, reasoning, repair logic and uncertainty. The brief is yours to retain.

Describe the completed commitment

Keep this non-confidential. We only need enough context to decide whether historical validation is suitable.

Please do not send confidential customer information or source documents through this first step. If the case is suitable, secure material sharing is agreed separately.

What Nexus will and will not use

Judge the past decision from the information available at the time.

The point is not hindsight. The point is to reconstruct whether the commitment was supportable before it became binding.

Included

Pre-signature terms, evidence, approvals, assumptions, economics and feasibility information that existed before commitment/signature.

Not used to rewrite the decision

Post-signature outcomes do not determine the reconstructed clearance state. They may be compared later as a separate validation of the decision quality.
